PKS will hold its annual national conference in Bali on 1-3 February 2008. The conference attended by at least 1500 PKS officers will discuss Party's consolidation for the upcoming legislative election in 2009 and recommendations for Indonesian government leaded by President Susilo Yudhoyono and Vice President Jusuf Kalla.
PKS Shura Council meeting, the highest forum within PKS organization, will be held prior to this conference at the same location.
Some of the guest speakers for the conference are Sineas Garin Nugroho, Dian Sastrowardoyo, PDIP Taufik Kiemas and Ex Indonesian Vice President Try Sutrisno.
"We chose Bali as the place for the conference to emphasize that PKS is pro plurality and supports diversity of religions, tribes, and cultures", said Fahri Hamzah, Under Secretary General of PKS. He also underlined that PKS is committed to establish peace and to end all kinds of violence and terrorism in Indonesia.

All Prosperous Justice Party (PKS) cadres and sympathizers in North America were deeply saddened to hear the news about the death of our beloved mother, Hj. Ibu Kastiani Indriawati. Our thoughts are with you and your family during this difficult time. We are all in a state of shock!
I remember when I met you two weeks ago at KC Hotel. You expressed no worried and everything seemed to be fine.
Indeed she was a strong woman behind a strong man. I know you will miss her greatly. All of us do miss her.
May Allah SWT accept her deeds, forgive her, and include her among the sholehah and mujahidah. May Allah SWT bestow upon you and your family patience and perseverance.
You have the deepest sympathy of PKS cadres and sympathizers in North America who care about you and are thinking about you in this difficult time of sorrow.

 As a dakwah party, PKS continues establishing relationships with goverment and non-government institutions. After visiting Muhammadiyah, DDII, HTI, and a number of national leaders, on Friday (1/4/08), PKS visited Minister of Foreign Affairs, H.E. Wirayuda at Pejambon.
H.E. Wirayuda welcomed them and explained some improvement that have been implemented within the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

(PKS) Prosperous Justice Party's Sharia Council
Encourages Shalat Ghaib for The Victims of Flood and Avalanche in Central and East Java.
Sharia Council of PKS encourages cadres, sympathizers, and everybody to establish salat ghaib because there were so many people passed away due to flood and avalanche in Central Java and East Java.
PKS Provided Helps Using Inflatable Boats
President DPW PKS Central Java, Arif Awaludin leaded the evacuation and aid distribution for flood and avalanche victims. With PKS rescue team in inflatable boat, he visited high water flood areas to distribute food, clean water, and medicines.
PKS volunteers helped clean up schools from leftover muds due to flood and avalanche.
